My name is Gloria Nunez, LMFT. I am a bilingual licensed therapist. I am a graduate of Cal State Long Beach, where I majored in Liberal Arts with a minor in Psychology. I completed my graduate degree at Cal State Dominguez Hills of Marriage and Family Therapy.
I joined West Advisory in 2003 as an intern. I take pride in the experience that I have acquired throughout the years that have made me a competent therapist. I have conducted Individual, Couples, Family sessions, and have treated a different range of diagnosis. I am also an experienced group facilitator and I am certified to conduct Domestic Violence groups for both Victims and Perpetrators, Counseling for Sexual Abuse Prevention (CSAP) and Sex Offender Groups. I have collaborated with DCFS social workers and Probation Department to promote the safety and wellbeing of the clients we serve. As a therapist, my approach is a balance of empathy while keeping clients accountable. My goals include promoting mental health and reducing recidivism.
